Happy First Birthday!

Abigail's first birthday was a huge success! With family and friends all around Abby opened presents, showed off her new tricks, and let everyone know how much she DIDN'T like her birthday cake! :)

11 Months Pictures!

I am always impressed with my friend's blog over at the "Zickafoose Zoo", so I have decided to try and do better entries in the coming year! :) Now, I am not as good at word stories as I am picture stories, so there still might be more pictures than words, but that will have to do. We are trying to get prepared for Abby's one year birthday party -- we are expecting quite a crowd from Muskogee and Abby is so excited! :) She has been practicing walking. She can now take about 6-8 steps when she wants to. She is also preparing for her speech. I'm thinking that it will probably be all about her "da-da" and her "duh" (duck) since those are the words she's mastered so far! Here's some fun pictures from the last month...

She was a bit surprised when this incodent happened! Of course, in the midst of thrashing and playing peek-a-boo with her daddy, and all the many other things she likes to do while attempting to eat, she thrust her forhead right on the spoon! She decided it was funny when daddy started laughing...

I'll be 11 months on Friday!!!

Merry Christmas! Abby hasn't known quite what to think about all this crazy stuff adults do around Christmas time, but she is enjoying getting into all the extra decorations! Here's some of her first Christmas pictures...enjoy!

Abigail Elise - 9 months, almost 10 and growing up fast!

Abigail is now 9 and a half months old and 19 lbs. She cut her two bottom teeth on her 9 month birthday, has been pulling up and cruising like a pro, and enjoys playtime at the park and loves watching other children or animals play! She's started her array of forehead bruises as she tries to be more mobile and looses her footing. We loved getting to show her off in Oklahoma over the Thanksgiving holiday, we don't get her there often enough! We love our baby girl and can't wait to see what she will do in the coming days to make us smile and brag even more!!!

This one is at our church "Fall Shin-Dig"...she was too occupied with the grass that found it's way into her hands to smile! (not sure how to straighten it up!)

So Abigail Elise is now EIGHT MONTHS OLD! Here are a few shots of our baby girl over the past month. Her little personality is really developing, as you can see! She is still toothless but can gum-it with the best of them. Abby's favorite moment of the day is still when her Daddy walks through that front door...she'll even stop eating for that, and she doesn't interupt eating for anything! :)

Abigail is 7 months old now! 16.5 pounds of jumping energy -- no need for an arm toning workout here! She's mastered the art of rolling and sitting, she's working on crawling and getting those little bites of food actually to her mouth and not loosing them in her chair! We are excited to be moving to our apartment next week -- even though it means much less space, there's much more carpet Abby will be able to play on and I won't have to worry she's going to hurt herself on all this concrete.

This is one of her most favorite activities...jumping....all the time...in the jumper....in the exersaucer...in your lap...you get the picture...











She's growing up too fast! This week she's started saying the sounds, "da-da-da-da-da". Daddy's awfully proud! We're secretly working on "ma-ma" when he's not around. :)

Abigail Elise is now 6 months! Some of her favorite pastimes are sucking on her toes, sitting up like a big girl, and laughing at big sister Grace! :)

Fun at bathtime!

One of Abby's other pastimes is watching golf Sundays with her daddy. Her favorite is definately Tiger, she told us so! :)

Okay, I just thought this was cute...Grace's big tounge licking cousin Landon on the face!

Abigail will be 5 months old next week! She's 14.3 pounds, eating cereal, and coming very close to sitting up all by herself!

We didn't know if her camo would still fit come hunting season, so we took pictures early!
